Pictures from Ashtead Village Day 2014 and 2017. In 2017 Both the Volunteers of Ashtead Rye Meadows Wetlands and the Chairman, David Baker, received the Group and individual Service Recognition Awards from Ashtead Rotary.
These awards are for all those volunteers past and present who help maintain the Meadows and plant new trees and hedges, keep the river free of blockages and debris, repair the footpaths and build bridges.
It’s nice to be recognised for the hard work and dedication of everyone involved.
