A great Village Day - superb weather, a superb attendance and a great position thanks to our friends at Ashtead Common with whom we shared a gazebo. Our complimentary endeavours made for an eye-catching stand and we had numerous visitors to both sides - the Common and Rye Meadows.
Our new book "Restoring the Great Marsh" was on sale for the first time, having only been received from the publishers the previous day. Literally "hot off the press"! People looking through the book were impressed by the quality. Over 200 pages with full colour photographs. We sold some 50 copies on this first day.
You can now buy a book via the web site's shop. If an Ashtead resident we will deliver free of charge. If outside Ashtead you will need to pay P&P so before buying please email us for the overall price.
It is also planned for the book to be available at the florist "Stems" on Craddocks Parade, and also at "The Word on the Street" in The Street. Keep a look out for it and pop in a see a copy. We're sure you'll be interested and buy your own copy. It is a limited print so buy while stocks last.
