Heritage Open Days - 10th to 19th September

Rye Meadows has again joined with other sites and organisations in Mole Valley as part of the National Heritage Open Days Festival.

The festival begins on Friday 10th September until Sunday 19th September. To find out what is on near you go to https://www.heritageopendays.o... and enter your Post Code.

In Rye Meadows Wetlands the fields that are normally kept locked and for horse grazing only will be opened to the public from 10am to 4pm. Aquamaintain have been hired in to clear away some of the intrusive brush and open up views - as above.

On Sunday 12th September the Volunteers will be on hand to meet visitors and show them what has been achieved. We will have a stand with photographs and some merchandise plus a “taster” on our new book due out this year called “Restoring the Great Marsh”. There’s no need to book, just come along to Centenary Field between 10am and 4pm {Link here to Map page}. If coming by car, please do park considerately in the adjoining side streets.

We look forward to welcoming you.
