Methodic Practice are an enthusiastic and dynamic architectural and landscape design studio. Their ethos of cohesive architecture and landscape ensures the delivery of sustainable & buildable solutions that respond sensitively to the environmental and social context.
The team includes qualified professionals in sustainable design who are dedicated to creating designs with low environmental impact. They have extensive experience of natural habitat development and design, and work closely with clients to deliver strategic assessments of development sites for inclusion of wildlife. They bring together stakeholders and consultants to develop costed and site specific management objectives, and assist the client to identify measurable key performance indicators to monitor success.
Stefanie studied Landscape Construction in Heidelberg from 1995 to 1997 and also worked in a private landscape practice during her course, before moving to England in 1997 to join a small private practice in North London. Stefanie set up Methodic Practice in London in 2002 with Colin Smith (DIP ARCH RIBA). Stefanie Qualified BA Land Arch (Hons) at Kingston in 2001, and just completed a MSc Architecture and Alternative Energy in 2012. She is senior Landscape Designer & Financial Partner at Methodic Practice and responsible for all stages of design, development and completion of landscape projects. Stefanie cares greatly for our environment and gives much consideration to the impact of both our personal and business activities in order to adopt practices that work in harmony with our surroundings . She has an enthusiasm for every aspect of her work, which means that she is always ready to achieve excellence.
Within the Ashtead Rye Meadows project, Methodic Practice will be responsible for creating informative mapping from surveys, alongside the design and site layout, and will act as the project manager and client advisor.
